Bernadine Quildan Cornelius Dies at 63

Bernadine Quildan Cornelius, also known as “Cleo,” of Estate St. John died on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at her residence. She was 63 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Eulalie Bowers Quildan; children: Ordie, Charmaine, Blondelle and Sgt. Claude H. Cornelius, Loretta Cornelius-Lawrence and Cordella Cornelius; stepchildren: Lucinda, Joanne and Claudius Cornelius and their families; grandchildren: Emery Timothy, Kyle, Anijah, Alijah, Anayah and Austin Cornelius, Diane, Delicia, Carlena, Craig and Delvin Williams Jr., Alex, Cynthia and David Francis, Ikimba and Kovan Fergus, Joseph Troy, Levania and Ajani Lawrence; great-grandchildren: Timothy and Ossie Williams Jr., and Atariah Allahar; sister: Juleen Quildan of Green Bay; and brothers: Milburn and Caswald Quildan, Neil Jarvis, Isaiah Christopher.
She is also survived by neices: Natasha Bazil and family, Nerrisssa, Desiree, Charmaine James and family, Jessica, Nekelia Jarvis and Cynthia “Ms. B”; Hunte; nephews: Constable Leroy Jeffrey and family and Cpl. Clayton Jeffrey and family; aunts: Elfreda Bowers, Anest Payne and Sarah Alexander; sisters-in-law: Sylvia Henry, Cerene Jarvis and Evette Roberts; daughters-in law: Karen Hunte Cornelius and Jewel Jacobs Cornelius; godchild, Anique Mings; and cousins: Pastor Elmond Joseph and family, Edris Samuel and family, Moreen Payne-Hyman and family, Norma Quildan and family, Dalice Harris, David Bowers, Morris Bowers and family, Barrett Bowers and family, Esther Bowers, Ruthlyn Simon, Marilyn, Sharon, James and Iris Bowers, Hasso Henry, Vernon Quildan, Ruthlyn Mason and family, Yvette Ralph and family, Condace Henry Cornelius and family, Octavia Walker, Angelina Williams, Argentine Ralph and family, Alice Joseph and family, Armintha Archibald, the children of the late Ephraime Bowers and family, the children of the late Zandy Lewis, Christopher Issac, the Wynters and St. Clair Goodwin and families.
Other survivors include friends: Venetta Cornelius, Michelle Armstrong, Tita, Goldine Humphreys, Carlye Hamm, Betty Tutein Simmonds, Wattley, Oneil, Luz James, Azil, the Gores family, the Lawrence family, Ms. Rebecca Cornelius, Brenda, Jeff, Sandra Baltimore, Monett, Austin, Browne, the Athills, Mr. Welch, Shelly Ann Rawlins, Natalia Blain, Louisa Barrie and family, Margaret Soutwell and family, Thomas Romano, Ms. Boddie, Floris, the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport staff and the vendors of BQ Place.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
