Brief: UVI Awards 57 Degrees for Fall 2010

The University of the Virgin Islands recently conferred 57 degrees for the Fall 2010 semester, 46 on the St. Thomas campus and 11 on the St. Croix campus.

UVI has been conferring degrees in December since 2007. Students who graduate in December will have the December graduation date immediately noted on their UVI transcripts. This allows students to immediately enter the workforce or attend graduate school, rather than waiting until May.

These students will also be listed in the commencement booklet for the May ceremonies and have the option of participating in the ceremonies.
