Brief: Sewage Prompts DPNR Warning on Frederiksted Beach

After investigating reports of a broken line, the Department of Planning and Natural Resources has found raw sewage currently being discharged into the near shore of Frederiksted Public Beach. In a statement, DPNR advised the public to avoid the beach area until the problem is fixed and said it is monitoring the situation and will issue updates as information becomes available.
