Noted Historian Signing Books at Dockside Bookshop Dec. 11

Noted historian, genealogist and writer Anne-Marie Danet will be on hand for a book signing of her latest publication at Dockside Bookshop, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11. The book, “Collection of Writings: French Heritage – the People, the History and the Culture,” is a revised copy of a series of 52 articles published in the Virgin Islands Daily News. The original version of this collection on French heritage, life and times, was released in 2009.
The 116-page book contains an index of articles for easy navigation, photos, bibliography, acknowledgements, dedications and a brief author biography. This special edition will include two articles that did not appear in the first run book. The volume is spiral-bound and is being printed by Innovations by Design. Dockside Bookshop is located at Havensight Mall on St. Thomas.
