Hotel Association and Chamber of Commerce Host Holiday Hope Benefit

The St. Croix Hotel and Tourism Association and the St. Croix Chamber of Commerce will hold their 5th Annual Holiday Hope Benefit at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Palms at Pelican Cove. The event will benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Virgin Islands, and the Patrick Henry Hospitality Scholarship. The mission is to not only give local children a message of hope on a special day, but to support youth development on a daily basis year-round, while providing educational opportunities for their future. By working together, we can change lives and improve our community one child at a time.
The evening will include both silent and live auctions. Auction items will include fabulous trips, art, jewelry, gift baskets and two autographed guitars. One is autographed by Garth Brooks and the other is filled with signatures from Brooks and Dunn, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Vince Gill, John Ford Coley, Joey Molland, Roger Earl, Charlie Hume, Brian Bassett, Jeff Howell of Fog Hat, Pure Prairie League and Michael McDonald.
Live entertainment will be provided by local favorite Mercy Child, and flying in from Nashville and Minnesota to donate their time will be St. Croix’s Joey Molland and Billy Davis of Badfinger.
Admission is $40 or two new, unwrapped toys, valued at $20 each.
