District Releases Schedule for Report Card Distribution

The following is the schedule of report card distributions for the first marking period of the 2010-2011 school year, according to a press release from St. Thomas-St. John District Superintendent Jeanette Smith-Barry.
Leonard Dober Elementary
Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 5:30 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Lockhart Elementary
Thursday, Nov. 18, from 7:50 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians only.
Ulla Muller Elementary
Thursday, Nov. 18, from 8:30-11:20 a.m. and also from 1-2:40 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Emanuel Benjamin Oliver Elementary
Thursday, Nov. 18, from 9-11:30 a.m. and also from 1:15- 2:30 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians. Parents interested in purchasing the School Insurance Plan should come prepared to do so at a cost of $15. Parents wishing to have a conference with their child’s teacher, administrator or counselor are encouraged to make an appointment.
Julius E. Sprauve School
Friday, Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., during Open House. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians. Pre-Thanksgiving luncheon by grade levels: Elementary at 11:15 a.m. and Secondary at noon.
Yvonne Miller-Bowsky School
Friday, Nov. 19, from 1-3 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Guy Benjamin Elementary
Monday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Ivanna Eudora Kean High School
Monday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents.
Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School
Monday, Nov. 22, at 2:15 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Jane E. Tuitt Primary School
Monday, Nov. 22, Grades K-1: 8 – 11:30 am. and Grades 2 and 3: 12:15-2:30 p.m. Grades 2-3.
Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Addelita Cancryn Junior High School
Tuesday, Nov. 23, from 8:30-11:15 a.m. and again from noon – 3 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Charlotte Amalie High School
Tuesday, Nov. 23, from 1-3:10 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Gladys A. Abraham Elementary School
Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 8:10 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians only.
Joseph Sibilly Elementary School
Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Evelyn Marcelli Elementary School
Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 1-2:30 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
Joseph Gomez Elementary School
Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 2:30 p.m. Report cards will be distributed to parents/guardians.
The superintendent encourages parents to utilize the mandated two hours a month to visit with teachers and other school-based personnel regarding any issues or concerns as well as to volunteer at their child’s school. “It is important to have our parents on board with our schools toward improved services and academic achievement of our students. Therefore, we are asking parents to ensure their knowledge of their children’s academic standing by meeting with teachers and others to discuss progress,” Smith-Barry said.
