Veterans Day Parades Canceled, Events Moved Indoors

Veterans Day parades on both St. Croix and St. Thomas have been cancelled due to the storms that battered the U.S. Virgin Islands Wednesday.

A news release from Government House reported the cancellations and added that other activities for the holiday have been affected as well.

On St. Croix, the ceremonies will now be held at 10 a.m. at the Myron G. Danielson American Legion Post 85 in Christiansted.

On St. Thomas, the activities that had been panned for outdors wil now be held at 4 p.m. at the Patrick U. George American Legion Post 90 in Sub Base.
