Materangas-King Named New V.P. of Public Relations

Jennifer Matarangas- King has been named the new vice president of Public Relations and Governmental Affairs for all Innovative companies. She had most recently led its Cable TV operations.
Seth R. Davis, Innovative Companies CEO, said, “I am pleased to announce that Jennifer Matarangas-King has accepted the position of vice president of Public Relations and Governmental Affairs. As I mentioned during our employee meetings on October 13, 2010, we are looking internally to our employee base to move our company forward.”

In her new role, she will be the single point of contact for all public relations, governmental affairs and community involvement. Working with the executive team, she will be responsible for the communications and relationships with the community, governmental agencies and the press throughout the territory. She has served in numerous positions in her 11 years with Innovative, including leading the cable organization to becoming the premier Cable TV provider in the territory, according to a press release from Innovative Companies.

Matarangas-King previously served in a number of public relations positions in the executive and legislative branches of government. She holds a B.A. degree from Smith College and an M.A. in Organizational Communication from Howard University.
“The Innovative team joins me in congratulating Jennifer Matarangas-King on this new appointment,” said Davis.
