Ethel Edwards Dies at 86

Ethel Edwards of Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged died on Oct. 30. She was 86 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Henrietta John and Sarah Kingston; son, Alvin Payne; grandchildren: Carol Prevost, Clement, Arlene and Jacqueline John, Valda Greenaway, Pearl Frederick, Kenneth Sr., Eunice, Virgil, Marjorie and Stacy Kingston; great-grandchildren: Aundrae, Adrian and Monique Prevost, Ariana, Ashley and Alexander John, Shasha Callendar, Ludalwa John, Royann Burton, Jelani Browne, Eurabana and Kwasi Abban, Jerdel and Jervain Richardson, Allen Jr., Andrea, Dante and Johnathan Frederick, Kenneth Jr., Jelel, Je’rilse, Traenique, Trenakai and Makeda Kingston, Shamika, Shakira and Shakemo Clarke, Shanika, Shanique and Carime Kingston; and great-great grandchildren: K’Shard and K’Nard Callendar, Makayla Prevost, Giovanni Dennison and Sa’nai Emmanuel.
She is also survived by sister, Ethleen Williams; nieces: Rosaline, Elrona and Edith Williams; nephews: Raymond and Lenard Williams; special friends: George and Allca Weeks, Pastor and Sister Hamilton, Pastor and Sister Coker, Christine Merchant, Samuel Henry, Shela Burke, Adllah Daisley, Audrey Weekes, Berisa Miller and The Church of God of Prophecy family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, at The Church of God of Prophecy in Richmond. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
