Rastafari Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market Promotes Agriculture on St Croix

The United Caribbean Association Inc. Agricultural Committee will host a Rastafari Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21. It is seeking to highlight cultural and traditional practices, and educate the community on the need to stimulate and promote agricultural industry. The venue will include a demonstration booth that will allow individuals to conduct various types of presentations. The presentations may include, but are not limited to, farming and gardening pointers/tips, crafts techniques, cooking preparation, recipes, juicing tips, etc. The goal is to develop and maintain a steady agricultural and cultural industry within the territory in hopes to becoming self sufficient.
