Elizabeth Iris Avril of Estate Upper Love died on Oct. 7. She was 74 years old.
She is survived by her spouse, St. George Avril; daughters: Christin Avril Gaskin and Martina Phills; sons: Matthew Fields and Clinton Fields; grandchildren: Fabian Tobierre, Elston Gaskin Jr., Asanni Gaskin, Chad Phills, Trisha, Travis, Kemoy Webster and Danny Fields; and great-grandchildren: Ja’Liah Chelcher, Ja’hereah Chelcher, Ja’Myah Chelcher and Webster Fields Jr.; sister, Norma Sheikh; son-in-law, Elston Gaskin Sr.; and brother, Phillip Fields. She is also survived by nieces: Irma John, Regina John, Merline Joh Lamontagne, Laurencia Charlmagne, Crescentia Fontenelle, Julia Edwards, Michellyn Fields, Mena Fontenelle and Sheila Sheik; nephews: Evans John, Matthew John, Martin John, Michael John, Cuthbert Fields, Hilbert "Bedi" Fields, Boniface "Ivory" Fields, Thomas "Venus" Fields, Simon, Fontenelle, Cyprian "Mickey" Fontenelle, Batson Fontenelle, Jamal Fontenelle and Kerr Sheikh; cousins and other relatives: Beatrice Seville, Mary St. Ange and Merlie Jn Marie; as well as other family members and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 am. on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
