Pistarckle Theater offers STARS After School Program, Dance in Theater, for teenagers 11-17 years old. Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Oct. 5 through Dec. 9. The fee is $25 per week. There will be a recital on Dec. 10.
Students will gain poise, grace, flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination and self-confidence through the 10-week dance program. Dance, with its concentration on self discipline, extends itself to other areas of life and gives students an edge in their academic and professional endeavors. Marie Paul, a local choreographer, will lead the classes. She has choreographed Pistarckle’s last two youth productions: “The Wiz” and “Follow the Beat.”
