Brief: Elections Officials to Test Voting Machines Friday

V.I. Elections officials will test and certify electronic voting machines and vote-tabulating equipment this Friday.
V.I. law mandates the testing and certification, which is open for public observation. Testing had been scheduled for Wednesday, but due to Hurricane Earl is now set for Friday.
The testing will be at the Elections System offices at no. 22 Crystal Gade, St. Thomas, and at no. 93AB Sunny Isles Shopping Center Annex on St. Croix.
Testing in both districts will be done at 10 a.m.
Party primary elections will be held Sept. 11.
For more information, see the Elections System website at vivote.gov or call 773-1021, 774-3107 or 776-6535.
