Man Arrested for Grand Larceny

Police on St. Croix arrested Hector R. Peguero Jr., also known as “Nomar,” and charged him with grand larceny.

According to the reports, Peguero, 20, of Estate Work and Rest, was arrested around 11:23 a.m. Monday, based on a warrant issued by Judge Jessica Gallivan.

Investigation revealed that in June, Peguero had stolen a spare tire cover from a vehicle that was parked in the Marshall and Sterling parking lot. Police said Peguero admitted to stealing the item.

Bail for Peguero was set at $35,000 and he was remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
