DOL Releases Federal Addtional Unemployment Compensation Checks

The checks for all retroactive payments for Emergency Unemployment Compensation 2008 (EUC08) – Federal Additional Compensation (FAC) will be printed and mailed this week, according to a press release from Commissioner of Labor Albert Bryan Jr. All tiers of the EUC – Tier I, II and III have been successfully converted to the VIDOL$ System. This conversion will allow for $30,000 in retroactive payments to be mailed out to the public.

The department asks the public to allow 5-7 days for receipt of their payments before calling into the department. If you have any questions regarding this information, contact DOL offices on St. Croix at 773-1440 or on St. Thomas at 776-3700.
