Tassuis David Charles Dies at 58

Tassuis David Charles, also known as "Charles or “Cassius," of Estate Solitude, Christiansted has died.

He is survived by his spouse, Vernalyn O. Charles; mother, Roseline Gustave; father, Vincent Jones; daughter, Jennivieve A. Charles; sons: David Sr., Eustace Sr., Justin Sr. and Terrance Sr., Charles and Kevin Clovis; and grandchildren: Sheniqua Charles, David Charles Jr., Deshylah Charles, Jahmika Charles, Aliya A. Bright, Dejahni Charles, Justin Charles, Jr., D’shaun Charles, D’mahri Charles, J’nyah Charles, T’nira Charles, Jahnika Charles, D’Naesiah Charles, Dreaunte Charles, Daunte’ Charles, Terrance Charles Jr. and Eustace Charles Jr.
He is also survived by sisters: Maria Gustave, Sonia Gustave, Agnes Laurencien, Marcella Gustave, Martha Gustave and Frances Leon; brothers, Valence Gustave, Theopilus Gustave and George Charles; nieces; Martina, Shirley Ann, Stacy, Isha, Donna, Joanis, Valma, Patisea, Jenna, Anna, Alison, Christie, Alysa, Mernise, Marissa and Manessa; nephews: Brian, Kingson, Patrick, Linel, Duane, Romeus, Miguel, Jacques, Niel, Ninus and Merton; great nieces: Tola, Chelcy and PJ; great nephews: Marty, Kevin, Damian and Dominique; aunt, Veronica Natanele; and uncles: Justice Nicolas, Eustace Jones, Simone Jones and Paton Nicolas.
Other survivors include cousins and other relatives: Dahila Parker, Travis Parker, Doreen Gustave and Tishous; special friends: Dessarrie Farquhar, Luisto Ledesma, Gean Capuano, Janice Ferdiand, Solomon, Claire Lewis, Villa Madeleine, the Resort and Condominium staff, the Carden Beach Recreation staff, Robert Fiedler and Art Christensen; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, at Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church, Frederiksted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
