Mildred Leola Sackey Williams-McIntosh Dies at 91

Mildred Leola Sackey Williams-McIntosh Mildred Leola Sackey Williams-McIntosh died on Saturday, Aug. 7, at her residence. She was 91 years old.

She is survived by her sons: Harold Brown Sr., Ken, Dennis, Bertram and Rupert McIntosh; stepson, Bruce McIntosh; stepdaughters: Linda and Claudette McIntosh, Francis Petersen and Karen Bruce; grandchildren: Harold Jr. and Howard Brown, Jason McIntosh, Ericka McIntosh-Malcolm, Macqueda McIntosh-Jackson, Almitra, Omega, Micah, Almustafa, Ishmiel, Elijah, Akbar, Atiba, Abdul, Karla, Bertram Jr., Kelly and Chimwala McIntosh; and 35 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by daughters- in- law: Claudia Brown and Grace McIntosh; brothers- in- law: James and Douglas McIntosh; nephews: Theodore, Carl Jr., Basil Sr., Elroy, Michael and Leroy Williams; cousins and other relatives: the McIntosh family, the Williams family, the Sackey family, the Milligan family, the Krieger family, the Petersen family, the Byron family, the Bruce family, the James family and the Plaskett family; special friends: Gwendolyn Lucus, Deana Bolling and all Sacred Heart members; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Special thanks to Continuum Care, Nurse Margarette Mongeau and Shana Mitchel.
There will be a viewing at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
