St. Croix Central High School Issues Orientation Schedule

Principal Chermaine Hobson-Johnson of the St. Croix Central High School encourages parents to avoid the rush by having their child’s school ID pictures taken and paying school insurance fees during the week of Aug. 9-12. The main office will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. “Students must wear a white school shirt to take their ID picture. The fees for the school ID and insurance are $20 each,” said Hobson-Johnson.

Parents, guardians, students, staff and the general public are further advised of scheduled orientation dates for the 2010-2011 school year:
Tuesday, August 24 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – 12th Grade
And from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – 11th Grade
Thursday, August 26from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – 10th Grade
And from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – complete 10th, 11th and 12th Grades
Friday, August 27 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – 9th Grade
As a reminder, it is mandatory that parents or guardians accompany their child/children to the orientation sessions at which time students must be appropriately dressed in the school uniform. Following the sessions, class schedules will be distributed.
Monday, August 30
All students will report for the first day of classes.
