Muller School Extends Library Hours for Community and Students

Student, families and the general community are advised that the Ulla Muller Elementary School Library Media Center now has extended hours beyond the normal school day offering access to information and resources. Effective May 3rd the school has been providing access to online resources, general collections and study areas at the campus.

“We invite students, parents, faculty, staff and the community to use the facility. Our information literacy programs for the family, which include reading and book selection guidance, use of information technology and other practical skills, are available to help learn and improve proficiency of information age concepts and skills,” said Principal Ophelia Shillingford
The hours of operation are from 7:15-7:45 a.m. and 2:40-4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. The schedule will run through Friday, June 4.
During the extended library opportunity, students in kindergarten through first grade must be accompanied by an adult. Students in grades two through six may attend without adult supervision; however, arrangements for their use must be made in advance of the day they plan to attend. Parents are asked to ensue their child’s schedules have been articulated for pick-ups as there will be no access to phone service after hours, according to Principal Shillingford.
