Marina Veronica Alexander, also known as "Sucky," of Hospital Street, Frederiksted, died on Wednesday, April 28, at her residence. She was 35 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Linna Defoe-Sweeney; father, Peter Alexander; sisters: Fiona and Julianita Alexander; brothers: Wayne Amedee, Randy Alexander and Burton Wilson; nieces: Carnita Amedee, Leona Charles, Rebecca Askew, Jada Alexander and Aniya Alexander; and nephews: Jasper Askew, Cameron Amedee and Jaden Alexander. She is also survived by sisters-in-law: Anita Flavius-Amedee and Latisha Alexander; brother-in-law, Lawrence Carson; aunt, Angelic Defoe; uncle, Louis Alphonse; special friends: Brenda Nicholas, Keren Scott and Dovis Philiph; cousins and other relatives: Howard, Nadia, Lucia and Alos Edwin, Melissa and Jessica Alphonse, Conrad Alphonse, Dexta Samuel and Maylecisa McIntosh; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, at the Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
