Cancer Support V.I. in St. Thomas Hosts Oncologist and Naturopathic Physician

Cancer Support VI announces the next free presentation by Dr. Petra Ketterl, medical oncologist, and Dr. Kathryn Anderson, a naturopathic physician, from Cancer Treatment Centers of America, (CTCA) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They will discuss integrative oncology in the treatment of breast cancer, including diagnostic scans, the genetic aspects of breast cancer, the role of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation as well as the role of Naturopathic therapies in the co-management of common side effects of conventional therapies, the role of acupuncture, Vitamin D and other natural therapies in the treatment of breast cancer.

These free lectures will be held at noon on Wednesday May 5, at the Kimelman Cancer Institute; in the Benjamin Medical Auditorium and at 7 pm at Antilles School in the Mark Marin Center – in the Children’s Activity Room on the 1st floor near the back entrance.
The mission of Cancer Support VI is to provide support, education, information and assistance to people living with cancer, and their families and friends.
