CAHS Students Depart on College Tour 2010

Twenty-two juniors from Charlotte Amalie High School will depart the territory this weekend for the 2010 Junior College Tour, says Principal Carmen Howell. The students leave on Sunday, April 25, for a five-day tour and will return on April 30.

Among the colleges to be visited will be Morehouse and Spelman Colleges, the University of Virginia, Hampton, Norfolk State, Clark-Atlanta, Johnson C. Smith, North Carolina A&T, North Carolina Central, Georgetown and Howard Universities. “Students on tour will receive first-hand information about admission requirements, available scholarships and financial aid, and career offerings,’ said Howell. “Additionally, they will be able to observe the physical layout of the various schools, narrowing their choices and selections. The College Tour 2010 should prove to be a wonderful fact–finding trip for students and the CAHS family wishes them well!”
