Family Resource Center Registering Girls for “Rites of Passage” Course

The Family Resource Center’s Family and Youth Crisis Intervention Programis holding registration for its Girls’ “Rites of Passage” Prevention Component. The program, funded by the Department of Human Services, is free, but space is limited. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

It is currently accepting registration from parents who have daughters ages 9 to 12 years. “Rites of Passage” will offer modeling,computer literacy, social etiquette, arts & crafts, Spanish, recreational activities and field trips. It will begin on Monday, June 21, and will operate five days per week from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a closing ceremony on Friday July 30.
