Library Association’s First Literacy Walk Highlights Children’s Book Week

The St. Thomas-St. John Library Association will kick off Children’s Book Week (May 10-16) with a Literacy Walk. The association is hosting this community walk in support of literacy and reading on Saturday, May 8, from 6:30-8:30 a.m. at the Charlotte Amalie High School Track. Walk a mile (four laps) for $5 to get up-to-date library resources for local libraries — school, public, academic and special. Get fit by listening while walking — use audiobooks.
