Brief: Two Women Arrested for String of November Burglaries

Two young women were arrested Friday following the investigation into a series of November burglaries in Estate Green Cay, according to a news release issued Monday by the V.I. Police Department.

The release goes on to state that St. Croix Police executed search-and-arrest warrants before sunrise Friday and arrested Keisha Attico of Estate St. Georges and Kanetricia James of Estate Mt. Pleasant West, both 18.

During their search, Police recovered checks and a laptop computer from the suspects’ residences—items previously reported stolen in the November burglaries.

Both suspects were charged with third-degree burglary and placed on $35,000 bail. They were remanded to the Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
