Maximiliano Velasquez Dead at 79

Maximiliano Velasquez of Estate St. John died on Jan. 8. He was 79 years old.

He is survived by his spouse, Doris Velasquez; daughters: Tomacita, Ruth, Georgina and Lillian Velasquez, and Juanita Conde; sons: Maximiliano Jr., Juan Velasquez and Herminio Velazquez; grandchildren: Marilyn, Mark and Tomacita Looknanan, Betty, Pilar and Manuel Belardo, Jose Mark Quinones, Omar Hughes, Jeana Velasquez, Lilia and Marilyn Ramsey, George Velasquez Osborne, Jose Ventura, Maximiliano III, Doris, Pearlita, Mariela and Sheila, Juan II, Francisco and Madeline II Velasquez, Jose and Dorcas Ramos, Margarita, Ibeliz and Jenny Guadalupe, Diego J. Conde Jr., Herminio Jr., Ricardo, Desiree, Leane and Simon Velazquez, Kurt II and Arianne Walcott, Joel Hurtault, Edwardson Davis, Emily, Natalie, Kimberly, Dayanara, Mark Anthony, Diane, Moises and Chayane Ledesma, He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Maria Jocelyn, Jomarie, Jose and Jomayka Ayala, Mark, Markavely, Sian and Miliany Looknanan, Dorimar and Max Jordan Amaro, Karimark DeLa Cuz and Manuel Jovan Ortiz, Bryan, Alondra, Jan Manuel, Anfernee, Januel and Natasha Belardo, Sharon, Marie Aviles, Nasir and Lillyana Melendez, Adriana, Ashly and Adrian Sanes, Bill and Billy Navarro, Chrishna Estrella, Omayrie and Omar Guzman, Maximiliano Velasquez IV, Jose and Francisco Figueroa, Angel Perez, David Solomon, Edwin Gonzalez, Jose, Waleshka, Suleyka, Edgar, Marianchelis, Jahsheilise and Tanayrie Velasquez, Joanna, Leomar and Landen Hughes, Julian Garcia, Imariz Taylor, Gabriel and George Martinez, Francisco Velasquez Jr., Jakaira and Michael Velasquez. Other survivors include daughters-in-law: Venetia Velazquez, Gail and Madeline Velasquez, and Tabitha Ramos; sons-in-law; Diego Conde, Moises Ledesma, Romualdo Guzman and Jose D. Pereira; sisters: Felicidad Nieves, Isabel Torres and Angelita Rios; brothers: Carmelo, Isabelo and Domingo Velasquez; sisters-in-law: Mercedes and Martha Velasquez, and Lucy Fernandez; brother-in-law, Pablio Nieves; nieces, nephews and other relatives too numerous to mention; special friends: Bienvenido Chico, Hermano Montanez, Winston and Ineka Powell, brothers and sisters of Iglesia El Buen Pastor, Hermanos Unidos En Cristo Inc.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, at Iglesia El Buen Pastor Hermanos Unidos En Cristo, Estate Richmond. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
All funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Home Inc.
