Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands Releases Holiday Schedule

Chief Justice Rhys S. Hodge informs the general public and members of the Virgin Islands Bar that the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands will recognize the following holiday schedule during the 2009-2010 Holiday Season.

Thursday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) – Closed, but filings accepted via secured lock box. All employees granted administrative leave on both islands.
Friday, Dec. 25 – Closed in observance of Christmas Day.
Wednesday, Dec. 30 (J’ouvert, Annual Arts & Crafts and Food Fair) – Closed on St. Croix only, but filings accepted via a secured lock box. Employees on St. Croix granted administrative leave.
Thursday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve) — Closed, but filings accepted via secured lock box. All employees granted administrative leave on both islands.
Friday, Jan. 1 – Closed in observance of New Year’s Day.
Wednesday, Jan. 6 – Closed in observance of Three Kings Day.
All filings will be accepted via a secured lockbox at the entrance of the Supreme Court’s premises at No. 161B Crown Bay on St. Thomas and No. 18 Strand Street in Frederiksted, St. Croix during the days and times designated as administrative leave.
