Cancer Support VI Presents Lecture on Cooking for Health

Cancer Support VI announces the next free lecture from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Oceana Restaurant in Frenchtown.Andrea Reser, RD/LD, clinical dietitian and diabetes coordinator, and Chef Kenny Wagoner from Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Southwestern Regional Medical Center, will do a cooking demonstration that will include a discussion, handouts and recipes using foods found locally that can help with cancer fighting, diabetes and cancer prevention.

The mission of Cancer Support VI is to provide support, education, information and assistance to people living with cancer, their families and friends. If you or someone in your family has been affected by cancer, join CSVI.
