Softball Inc. remained unbeaten in the Bob Owens Slow Pitch Softball League by outlasting the powerful Warriors 14-12 Thursday night at the D.C. Canegata Ballpark. The game, the first of three scheduled for the evening, was the only one completed as rain washed out the second and third contests.

Softball Inc. continues to demonstrate that they belong in the top echelon as they defeated yet another of the league’s powerhouses, the Warriors, to remain undefeated. It was Softball Inc. with 14 runs on 22 hits and two errors while the Warriors finished with 12 runs on 15 hits and three errors. The winning pitcher was Dale Harris, and Angel Soto got the loss. Top batters for Softball Inc. were Antonio Cruz, 2 for 2 with a home run and four RBIs and Angel Guzman, 3 for 3 with two home runs and five RBIs. For the Warriors, Juan Santana was 2 for 3 with two home runs and two RBIs and Fernando Quesada was 3 for 4 with two home runs and six RBIs.
