Julius Charles Dies at 50

Julius CharlesJulius Charles, also known as “Herban” or “Big Foot,” of Grove Place died on Oct. 26, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 50 years old.

He is survived by his niece, Viviane Charles; son, Curtis; brothers: Michael Clarke and Matthew Isaac; adopted brother, Owen Cooper; adopted sister, Jefrina Clovis; sisters-in-law: Helina Issac and Mary Clarke; brother-in-law, Eustache Perpie Balle; nieces: Claudia, Mary, Susan, Gena, Kathy, Molicia, Sirdrina, Irvinia, Cherina, Marylene, Saloe Gustave; nephews: Puma, Ryan. Robert, Julian, Jomo, Clement; nieces-in-law: Tamika and Lucy. He is also survived by great nieces: Canditta, Kisha, Kishma, Zulimah, Pieya, Danesha, Nyomi, Amanda, Shenelle, Dorna, Iesha, Shamian, Kimberly, Christine, Olysha, Elisa, T’shane, Aliyah,, Hope, Z’nae, Zona, Felicia, Shemika and Precious; great nephews: Irvin, Mosely, Junior, Gavian, Dally, Coco, Tyson, Mos, Raheem, Akeyeem, Jareem, Meshack, Sammy, Dakeem, Kalil, Karim, Kalim, Rajon and Jahsim; great-grand nieces: Shakirah, K’ziah, Shakayla, Zeniyah, Keniya, Keyoni and Samantha. Other survivors include cousins: the Perino, Charles, Poleon and Jefrina families, Marie, Marlet, Lucy and family, Mark, John, Andrea, Andrew, Sylvia, David, St. Rose family, George, the Maitre, Perpie and John Hunt families; other relative, Efrage; friends: Celia, Julius, Marvis, Tiger, Christ, Merita, Theresa, Martha, Struggle, Glory, Tony, Justin, the Morris family, Original, the Prosper family, Paul, Sherly, Cius, T’John family, Clovis and Ms. Jean; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
