Police Athletic League Sport Camp Starts Monday

Registration for the V.I. Police Department Athletic League after-school sport camp starts Friday and the program kicks off Monday.
The camps will be held at the PAL centers at Burning Bush in Water Gut, Christiansted and Estate Whim in Frederiksted. The hours are 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and the camps accept youth from 3rd to 8th grade. Children get a daily snack courtesy of the Department of Education and insurance is provided.
Interested parents and guardians can pick up an application at the Ancilmo Marshall Command (C Command) at Bassin Triangle in Christiansted or the Wilbur Francis Command (B Command) at Mars Hill in Frederiksted. For more information call the Crime Prevention Office at 773-6393.
On St. Thomas the Police Department youth program Students Against Destructive Decisions after school program began on September 15. For more information call the VIPD Crime Prevention St. Thomas office at 776-1525.
