Gilmore G. James died on Sept. 13. He was 37 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Claudia Urgent; father, Elmer James Sr.; sisters: Sherlene Jones, Ana Juliet, Carol, Rudene and Judy James; brothers: O’Neal Doward, Elmer Jr., Taj, Ivan, Ralph, Tony and Randy James; nieces: Shayna and Brianna Jones, and De’Shawn Doward; and nephews: O’Neal Doward Jr. and Jason Doward. He is also survived by aunts: Ana Johannes Lindo, Anna Joseph Johannes, Gertrude Chinnery James and Ione Milligan; uncles: Otto James, Melvin and Vincent Urgent, and Leon Casey; brother-in-law, Jerome Jones; cousins and other relatives: Dawn, Debra, Magda, Josephine and Margret Bruce, Kim, Lyn and Pamela Harris, Raymond and Edward Stevens, Steven Sears, Patsy Urgent, Kimo Dennis, Jamal and Cleve Urgent, Louise Henry, Monique Hawkins, Roshan Stevens, Clyde and Syd Stevens; special friends: Kedo Walcott, Liz, Aaron Sterling and the Jones family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Tributes will begin at 9 a.m. and a funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 25, at St. Patrick‘s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
