Human Services Looking for 16-Year-Old Missing Girl




The Department of Human Services in conjunction with the VI Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a 16- year-old foster child who ran away from her home in Barren Spot Friday night or Saturday morning.

Jaqueline Laosanes was reported missing to the VI Police 1 a.m. Saturdayby her foster mother when discovered her absence from their home. Laosanes is a 5 foot 1 inch tall, Hispanic female, with black hair, and brown skin. She was last seen wearing blue jeans with a black spaghetti strap top and a blue jacket. Laosanes has a brace on her right index finger and a scar on her right check. She also has red circular blotches on her right ankle. Laosanes is known to frequent the Mount Pleasant West area.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Jaqueline Laosanes or has seen her is asked to notify the Juvenile Unit by calling 778-2211 extension 2048.
