District to Host Orientation for New School-Based Personnel

St. Thomas-St. John District Superintendent Jeanette Smith Barry advises all newly hired public school personnel of a mandatory orientation to be held at 8:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at the Curriculum Center in Tutu. The session is being held to orient the new hires, introduce them to key district personnel and provide them with valuable information as they begin the school year.
The superintendent said, “This scheduled meeting is not to be confused with the general orientation that is being hosted by the Department’s Human Resources Office on Monday. Aug.17.
