I echo Ms. Cooke’s opinion of JetBlue and would like to see them fly to St. Croix. I am excited to hear about American and Delta expanding their service to the island, but would like to see more airlines serve St. Croix to increase competition and decrease fares. I would like to see direct flights from New York to St. Croix and maybe Fort Lauderdale to St. Croix on Spirit. If Continental would start flying here, that would be good. St. Croix has yet to get direct service from main airports in the northeast such as New York and Boston. The more flights, the more competition… and more competition usually means lower fares.
