May 23, 2009 – A handful of Innovative telephone and cable television customers in Estate Humbug may have been affected by a fire at a nearby shack, a release Saturday afternoon from the company said.
Technicians believe that no more than 20 Innovative Telephone and Innovative Cable TV customers were affected/. The fire, which originated at a nearby storefront, spread to Innovative facilities causing minimal damage.
“Our field technicians will be working throughout the weekend, as necessary, to restore our customers’ service," Dennis Chance, Innovative vice president said, urging customers who may have been affected to contact the service center at 912 or if calling from a cellular phone, 778-1742.
