May 15, 2009 – Vernancia Eugene, also known as "Vick," of Harvey Project died on May 12, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
She is survived by her mother, Emecia Sylvester; daughters: Ineze Dubique, Jessica Lockhart, Daisy Warner and Brenda William; sons: Nicholas Lockhart, Masborne, Gregory, Troy and Kurt William; and grandchildren: Nicholas Jr., Ryan, Latoya, Andy, Vernan Jr., Te-Khai, Kimberly, Felicia, Travis, Kimran, Mashri, Curtis, Kurtoya, Kayla, Greg, Gregoriana, Handel Jr., Kiasha and Jaden. She is also survived by sisters: Felina, Joyce, Angelica, Felixia, Victoria and Caesarena; brothers: Narcisso, Cornelius and Hector; daughters-in-law: Julia Lockhart, Rhoda and Melinda William; sons-in-law: Handel Warner and Vernan Stapleton; aunts: Elize, Manuella, Gladys and Annbaby; uncle, Churchill; special friend, Sister Ermin; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 22, at the Frederiksted Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
