Education Urges Interested Applicants to Submit Documents for Teaching Positions

May 12, 2009 – Qualified individuals interested in joining the Virgin Islands Department of Education's team as a teacher should submit their applications and all required documentations for timely processing, according to a press release from the Department of Education.
"The department is now in the heat of its recruitment cycle. The Human Resources Division is now focused on filling positions in several critical areas and ensuring the necessary coverage of teachers and other school-based personnel for all territorial schools. Interested teacher applicants, as well as those persons who have already submitted documents, are being asked to ensure that their completed applications and all requisite documentation are in order to finalize the process. Applications will not be processed for individuals with incomplete files," said Education Acting Director of Human Resources Nicole Jacobs.
HR staff accepts clients from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Offices are located at 1834 Kongens Gade, St. Thomas, or Vitraco Mall, Plot 10, Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix.
