Dear Source:
I just read that the CZM approved depositing all the dredging projects sediment in Lindberg Bay. Cannot say I am surprised, just very disappointed in their lack of good judgment. There have been many protests with presentations showing why this was a bad idea and against this project but I guess the CZM commission has chosen to look the other way.
What I would like to know is how well those turbidity curtains will work in the event of a storm? Have they even considered the fact that they are going to be doing this dredging during Hurricane Season?
Now that really is great planning!
