The Gunfire Must Stop!

Dear Source:
Sunday night, 8:30 pm, about 7 shots fired around Garden Street…again! This gunfire and violence and death must stop! This is an urgent situation affecting law-abiding citizens not just these gangs. We are prisoners in our homes. What emergency measures are being taken, Governor, to stop the violence?
We have asked for patrols in town: cruising vehicles and police walking two by two. Nothing. The police react after the fact, but are not proactive. We, the people, need to see patrols now.
