Dredging of Bay Would Turn Off Visitors

Dear Source:
As a frequent visitor from New York City to Emerald Beach and Lindbergh Bay
I am disturbed by news that dumping may occur at this sight. The proximity to the St. Thomas airport gives the nearby bay and businesses a particularly vital role in promoting the islands tourist industry. For many people Lindberg Bay is their first experience of St. Thomas. For some, their only experience. Given its place as a first stop in the Virgin Islands for so many travelers and vacationers, how can it possibly be considered as an appropriate dumping site? This seems very short-sighted and wrong.
