Oberlin Conservatory of Music to Perform at Roosevelt Park

March 28, 2009 – The Virgin Islands Cultural Heritage Institute, the Department of Education's Cultural Education Division, the V.I. Council on the Arts and We From UpStreet Inc., sponsors of "Celebrating Our Sons and Daughters of Music," have announced a free concert performance of the Oberlin College's Conservatory of Music at 6 p.m., on Sunday, March 29, in the Franklin Delano Roosevelt V.I. Veterans Park. The evening of Jazz in the Park will also showcase Roan Creque (RC and Company), and the Ivanna Eudora Kean and Charlotte Amalie High School Jazz Ensembles.
Food and drinks will be on sale, and attendees should remember to bring chairs.
