Dear Source:
Jesus Christ Superstar was wonderful Thursday night at Pistarckle Theater. Special congratulations to the entire cast, musicians, and the director.
To the young man and woman who sat behind us toward the back on elevated seats and to everyone else who needs a reminder about etiquette at plays and concerts: singing with the cast is inappropriate. We did not come to hear you sing. The fact that you were once in a production of the musical tells me that you lack respect for other actors – if you wanted to sing, you should have auditioned to be in the play. Talking throughout the show, even after a board member spoke to you during intermission about not singing and talking, is rude and disturbs the audience. I overheard you say that you plan to return to see it again. Please be quiet next time.
