Montessori School Celebrates Grand Opening

March 25, 2009 – The students, parents and teachers of the St. John Montessori School, located at the John's Folly Learning Institute in Coral Bay, will be the celebrating the grand opening of the school at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, April 14. The public is invited to attend this event to hear guest speaker, Cecile deJongh, first lady of the territory, discuss the needs and importance of early childhood education.
The Montessori philosophy fosters a child's love of learning, enhances self-esteem and encourages independence. Children emerge as confident and capable learners who are capable of self motivation and who function well within a group.
