This Issue Must Be Addressed

Dear Source:

These dangerous types of materials are currently being unloaded at Gallows Bay Docks on a weekly basis. What would be the effects if a spill occurred? Consider the density of the population in and around Gallows Bay. There are passengers in the immediate area from the Fast Ferry, there are the residences along Lobster Street and over a hundred residents in Schooner Bay, Ft. Augusta and the hill top homes. Plus a prevailing breeze would blow these chemicals into Christiansted.
When is this issue going to be addressed by the VIPA and the cargo ships moved to the Container Port?
