EAST Will Host A Reptile Ramble

The Environmental Association of St. Thomas-St. John in partnership with the Division of Fish and Wildlife will have a reptile ramble at 9 a.m., on Sunday, March 29, at Magens Bay Shed No. 3.
Participants will have the opportunity to observe lizard territorial behavior and learn about why communication is so important to these lizards. They will also learn about the endangered Virgin Islands tree boa, a rare snake only found on the east end of St Thomas. The event will be led by reptile ecologist Renata Platenberg, an expert on snakes and lizards.
For information, call Renata at 775-6762 or Dalma at 774-1837.
