What's Wrong With Water Taxis?

Dear Source:
Am I the only one who wonders…What exactly is the problem with a "water taxi" anyway??? Me personally, I don't understand (or don't want to understand) the "power" that is given to the taxi drivers on this island. Besides the fact they don't pay taxes, and charge a family of four 30+ dollars to go to town from Havensight, and provide nothing but traffic for the average Virgin islander, what does the government owe them??? Why should I feel sympathy for these guys? Let's get real!!! I would never come back to this island after being jerked around by the taxi associations on our island. Wake up… it's disgusting.
