Air Force Airman Shandra E. Camacho/St. Croix
March 6, 2009 (Army & Air Force Hometown News) – Air Force Airman Shandra E. Camacho has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
She is the daughter of Gilberto Camacho of Williams Delight, Fredriksted, St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Camacho is a 2008 graduate of St. Croix Educational Complex, Kingshill, V.I.
Air National Guard Airman Diel S. Green/St. Croix
March 13, 2009 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Air National Guard Airman Diel S. Green has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; he performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Brenda Challenger of Mt. Pleasant, Frederiksted, St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
The airman is a 2005 graduate of St. Croix Educational Center, Frederiksted, V.I.
Army National Guard Pfc. Alphonse X. LaPlace/St. Croix
March 13, 2009 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Army National Guard Pfc. Alphonse X. LaPlace has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission and received instruction and training exercises in drill and ceremonies, Army history, core values and traditions, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, rifle marksmanship, weapons use, map reading and land navigation, foot marches, armed and unarmed combat, and field maneuvers and tactics.
He is the son of Leone Laplace of Fortuna, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
The private is a 2004 graduate of Stephenson High School, Stone Mountain, Ga.
Air Force Airman Clint K. Smith/St. Croix
March 15, 2009 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Air Force Airman Clint K. Smith has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Smith is the son of Francisca Williams of Williams Delight, Frederiksted, U.S. Virgin Islands.
The airman is a 2007 graduate of St. Croix Educational Complex Vocational School, V.I.
Air Force Airman Gaetan E. President/St. Thomas
March 19, 2009 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Air Force Airman Gaetan E. President has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training receive credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Michael Gentius of Peters Rest, Christiansted, Virgin Islands.
President earned a bachelor's degree in 2008 from the University of The Virgin Islands, Charlotte Amalie.
Air Force Airman Chamoi V. Frazer/St. Thomas
March 19, 2009 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Air Force Airman Chamoi V. Frazer has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.

He is the son of Stephanie Anderson-Roberts of Estate Lovenlund, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and Charles Frazer of Millenia Blvd., Orlando, Fla.
Frazer is a 2008 graduate of Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, St. Thomas.
