Luncheon to Honor Governor and Mrs. Cyril E. King Planned

Feb. 27, 2009 – Lillia E. King will host Virgin Islands youth as they salute the late Governor and Mrs. Cyril E. King on the occasion of the governor's 87th birthday. The event will be a luncheon held at noon, on Sunday, April 5, at the Marriott's Frenchman's Reef Beach Resort. This is the kickoff event to establish The Governor and Mrs. Cyril E. King Memorial Museum Fund. The future site of the museum will be located on or near the St Croix campus of UVI. A special "guest book" will be available for attendees of the luncheon and then saved for museum display.
Tickets for the luncheon cost $60 for adults and $35 for children ages 5-13. Ticket outlets are Draughting Shaft, Gem Palace, Shoe Tree, Artistic, Pricilla's Unisex Salon and UVI Bookstore.
