St. Croix Landmarks Society to Hold Historic House Tours

Because residents and visitors continue to have an interest in sharing and viewing the architecture, fine decorating and diverse styles of island living, The St Croix Landmarks Society offers house tours as a benefit to the community as well as a fundraising opportunity.
The Feb. 11th tour will depart promptly at 9:30 a.m. from the Whim Museum parking lot. Cars will be separated into four groups, and each group will stop at each of the four houses on the tour. The tour will include a stop at a Ginger Hills home in Carambola Golf and Country Club with beautiful hilltop views of the golf course. While there, participants will walk through a Sweet Lime Villa that has been meticulously decorated by the owner. Then on the northshore, one stop will be at Estate Lucky Bottom, a new home built in the style of a West Indies Estate home. The last stop will be at another Estate in Cane Bay customized with art and views of the ocean. Tickets are $35 per person.
Proceeds from the SCLS House Tours will be used for St. Croix Landmarks Society preservation projects including Whim Plantation Museum, The Lawaetz Museum at Little La Grange, the Research Library and Archives, and Educational Outreach Programs.
